Welcome to Art with Ms. N!
I am thrilled to begin my first year as the Middle School Art Teacher at Ivy Hawn Charter School of the Arts. This summer, I relocated to Central Florida from the Boston area, where I spent the past eight years teaching middle school art at a Montessori school. Before moving to Massachusetts, I began my teaching career in Florida public schools, where I taught art during my first two years as an educator. I am excited to return to Florida and bring the experiences I've gained in both public and Montessori education to the Ivy Hawn community.
Outside the classroom, I am a practicing artist specializing in painting and mixed media. I love sharing my creative process with students and encouraging them to explore, experiment, and develop their own artistic voices. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels inspired to take creative risks, build confidence, and discover their unique artistic voice. I can't wait to create, learn, and grow together this school year!
